Wer wirklich Low-Budget bleibt, braucht für ein kleines Teleskop keine große Montierung.Even with a small telescope and a mid-size camera, buy a good mount and tripod right away. If you truly stay low-budget, a small telescope doesn’t need a big mount.
Nächte planenPlanning nights
Bevor ich aufbaue, schaue ich auf die Wetterdaten und die Wolkenvorhersage. Wenn es abends zugezogen ist und erst später aufreißt, kann sich das Aufbauen trotzdem lohnen: Ein paar Stunden klarer Himmel sind oft besser als gar keine. Weil ich direkt auf dem Balkon arbeite, bin ich dabei recht flexibel und muss mich nicht lange vorher festlegen. Das Setup steht in etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten, dazu kommt das Einnorden, das an einem festen Platz schnell geht.
Before I set up, I check the weather data and the cloud forecast. If it is overcast in the evening and only clears later, setting up can still be worth it: a few hours of clear sky are often better than none. Because I work right on the balcony, I am fairly flexible and don’t have to commit long beforehand. The setup takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes, plus polar alignment, which is quick at a fixed spot.
